What is MiniScape?
MiniScape is a hobby that turned into something so much more! I produce and paint 3D printed Old School Runescape inspired models. All the models are edited and checked that they are ready for printing. Once printed, they are hand painted or airbrushed using acrylic paints.
I placed my order a while ago. Is it still being processed?
Yes it is! I'm the only person running MiniScape, with the occasional help from family members. When there's a lot of orders, the workload can become quite overwhelming and orders can take a bit longer than expected. What are the models made out of?
The models are made out of PLA, which is a type of plastic made for 3D printing. The printer extrudes molten plastic through a small nozzle. One layer is printed and after that layer cools, the printer will extrude on top of that layer. You can often see very fine lines in some models - this is where the layers are.
How did you get the models?
The majority of models seen on my store have been extracted from the game's cache. This is accessible to everyone and although a bit tedious, a guide on how to do this can be found on OSRSbox.
The models in game are not made for printing so they have to be heavily edited. I use 3ds Max to edit my models. When a model file isn't available or too difficult to make watertight, I will make it from scratch using references.
Can I place a custom order?
Order slots for custom requests are scarce, however on occasion I do accept custom requests. This is usually around the same time I restock the store. I often post when I have custom slots available on my social medias. Links to social medias can be found at the bottom of the page.
How much is shipping?
Shipping prices vary depending on your location. Currently shipping is £3.95 in the UK. International shipping is currently £12.95, however this may change due to Royal Mail changing their prices.
How long will my parcel take to arrive?
If your parcel is being delivered to a UK address, it will usually take 2-3 working days to arrive when sent. If you're outside of the UK, it can take around 5-7 working days. All UK packages are sent 1st Class and all international packages are sent tracked.
